The WAL MAN is a nut cracker in which a large amount of nuts can be thrown into a hopper at the same time and these then come out with a broken shell. The hand cracker is very simple to operate and achieves a very good crack result of up to 90% of the cracked nuts in the first cracking pass.

In the interior of the WAL MAN are two steel plates: The one is turned with a hand grip, while the second is adjustable. Thus, nuts such as walnuts and hazelnuts, pecans, acorns, or chestnuts with a diameter of 1 to 5 cm can be processed. The walnut cracker WAL MAN is available in two versions, which are differentiated in terms of cracking capacity. The hand cracker can also be combined with a shell remover.

The WAL MAN small is a hand-operated, economical and automated hand cracking machine for the cracking of walnuts or hazelnuts and the smaller version of the WAL MAN. The nuts are broken by means of two plates: One rotates and the other is adjustable to the nut size.

The nut cracker WAL MAN small is ideal for small households or fruit farmers with small quantities of nuts. For an optimal cracking result, the nuts should be pre-sorted into 3 sizes. The cracking machine can then be adjusted to the nut size using the adjustment plate. Through the crank arm, the nuts are cracked with a minimum use of force.

The WAL MAN is an automatic, hand-operated nut cracker for cracking walnuts or hazelnuts. The particularly robust construction made of welded steel, 4 mm thick, is operated by hand and cracks up to 30 kg/h without a problem. The nuts should be pre-sorted into 3 size classes as far as possible, in order to achieve a very clean cracking result.

The technology is based on 2 steel plates: One is operated with the hand crank, and the other is adjustable to the size of the nuts. Thus, the cracking machine can be adjusted for various nut sizes. The ball bearing also ensures a long service life of the mechanism. The WAL MAN is also available with mechanical drive or electric motor.

Shell remover

The accessory for the WAL MAN for separating up to 95 % of walnut shells.

The shell remover can be used to supplement the hand cracker WAL MAN. The shell remover separates the cracked nut cores from the hard shells. After cracking with the WAL MAN, the cracked nuts fall directly from the hand cracker into the shell remover. Thanks to a blower, the shells are blown out the side of the device. The cores contained in the ejection are up to 95% free of shells. The shell remover can be used for various nut types such as walnuts, hazelnuts, chestnuts, pecans, and many more. For walnuts, approx. up to 80% of all shells are removed, for hazelnuts up to approx. 95%.
